Soooooo.................................. I'm bored. I'm making up a challenge. If you are reading this post, leave a comment. Anything. And the winner gets..... A Smile. Seriously. I will draw a picture of You (Whoever you are) Smiling. If you are a someone I have never seen before, tell me what you look like. Then I will grant two wishes. One, my wish of finally doing a challenge on my blog, and two, My BFF's wish of seeing a drawing on my blog. Soooooo........ I don't think I'm bored anymore. :)

Random Stuff
This post is about random stuff that has happened in the past few weeks.
Jon and Renee came! We had fun making Mini Turkish Pizza's (crust, lettuce, tomato, and feta cheese) and playing on the Slip'n'Slide. (they experimented doing things like going down backwards or headfirst!) Plus, Jon added to the "Computer Lab" in our Basement, and now it is located in the living room of our house on a giant desk that covers half of the room. And since the bulb in our TV is out, and we can't watch movies or Netflix on our Wii, They put movies like Tangled, (awesome movie by the way!) Wall-E, and Kung Fu Panda 2 on the computers. We got to go to the Pond a few times and swim, and eat popsicles. We've been trying to potty train Noah, and it is working pretty well. Josiah has this little habit of sucking his thumb. We're trying to get him to stop, but bribing and putting duct tape on his thumb don't seem to work. He also has an addiction to "Fuzzies". Any sort of fuzzie thing, (Blankets, Coats, Craft Pom-Poms, etc.) and for Christmas, Mom got him a bag of craft pom-poms! It was so hilarious to watch him wide-eyed opening his present. Sometimes, in the middle of a store, he will see a fuzzie jacket on display. And he will run up to it and start rubbing it and sucking his thumb. And we've tried to get him to stop sucking his thumb by putting something on his right thumb, (the one he sucks) but he just suck on his other thumb! Any ideas? By the way, I posted Chapter 3 on my story blog. And speaking of Stories, I will maybe post a book review about the book A Wrinkle In Time. Okay, my fingers hurt from typing, so I'm going to end the post here.

Book Review (Finally!)
Okay, I am going to write a book review on one of my favorite books.
My Side Of The Mountain by Jean Craighead George
My side of the mountain is a book about how a 12 year old boy (Sam Gribley) leaves his home to go live on his great-grandfather Gribley's land. (His Grandfather has been dead for a long time and he lived in the Catskill Mountains.) The child loves his family but does not like living in New York City. He goes with a ball of string, a penknife, an ax, and 40 dollars. He finds his way ad finds his grandfather Gribleys land. He tries to survive on the land using only the things he broght. He learns to make a fire and cath fish, and how to tell what things (such as berries and plants) are good to eat. This is the first of 3 books in the series. On the Far Side Of The Mountain and Frightful's Mountain are the remaining 2 books. I loved this book and Highly reccomend it.
By the way, I will be writing more book reports soon!

And Finally, the weather read snow. And guess how much snow? 18-20 inches! Right now, It is snowing an inch an hour. Dad came home early, too! His work was closed down. Hurray for snow!

Theo!
My mom had Theophilus James Sims on the 8th of December, at 11:50 p.m.!
He weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces, ( and loves to snuggle, 1 year old children do not understand
the consept of snuggling! ) and is a bundle of love! My Mom told me to write my point of view
on when he was born. ( I got to be in the room.) So here's the story!
It was a long time. 8 hours to be exact. At 6:30 in the morning Mom started to think her water broke. Finally, at about 1:00 P.M., she wanted to go to the doctor, just to make sure. She was scheduled to be induced the next day, But she thought the baby might come naturally. So we got a babysitter. I was going to stay with the baby sitter until mom was sure she was/wasn't going
going to have him. If she was, my dad would come and pick me up. If she wasn't, she would return dad to work and go tomorrow. But, at the last minute, dad called mom. He decided I would go with mom and dad to see if her water really did break. So, me and mom went to pick up dad and go to the doctors office. (which is connected to the hospital by a large glass bridge.)
Me and dad were sitting in the waiting room to the doctors office while they checked Mom. In about 15 minutes she came out and said that her water really did break, and that they wanted her to stay. Dad called the babysitter, and he went home to get more comfortable clothes. I stayed with mom while he was gone. We watched a little TV and talked until dad got back. Mom was having very mild contractions. By then it was about 4:00. Me and dad went to the cafeteria to get some Late Lunch/Early Dinner. By the time we came back Mom was having less mild contractions. We watched some more TV, drew pictures and took some pictures with the camera. every once in a while Nurses would come in and raise her pitocin, and bring her pieces of ice. ( that was all she was allowed to eat.) It was about 5:00 by the time she was having contractions that were closer together. Soon a nurse came and put some cold wet rags on her forehead to make her feel better. She showed me how to cool them down if they were getting hot, and she left. They did that continually for about 3 hours, by then it was 8:00 and at 8:15 they were scheduled to give her antibiotics. The contractions were getting a lot closer and stronger. Nurses came in and checked her then said she was dilated at a 7. ( on a scale of 1-10 that's close) Soon the contractions were getting strong enough for her to say ow!ow!ow!ow!ow!ow!ow! whenever a contraction came along. Me and dad knew it would be soon. About an hour later a Nurse came along and checked on her, and she was dilated at an 8. That was about 9:30 P.M. . The Doctor then allowed Mom to eat things other than ice, like Jell-o, Popsicles, or yogurt. Mom had some Jell-o, and we watched some more TV. A Nurse came and checked on her and she was still at an 8. It seemed to Me that she was at a 9, Because of the change in the Strength and Closeness of the contractions.
The Nurse explained that Dr. Nord ( the guy that delivers the babies) would be there in about an hour. (He was gone at a basketball (or some other sport) game) In about half an hour, about 5 nurses came in. ( one was the delivery nurse) And Mom was having Very Strong contractions.
I was cooling down the rags every ten minutes or so, And in about 20 minutes, the doctor arrived. Mom wanted to push, But they said she wasn't dilated enough, and that it might hurt the baby or her if she pushed. Dr. Nord left to do some paperwork, and he came back 20 minutes
later. We were all relived to see him. Mom was crying and saying that she wanted to push, but they wouldn't let her. In about ten minutes her body was pushing and she couldn't stop it. They finally let her push, and in about 5 minutes the baby was born. Dr. Nord held him up for all of us to see. In a moment a nurse weighed him, and wrapped him in a blanket and handed him to mom. We all looked at him and smiled. Dad even cried he was so happy to see him! Me and Dad stayed for about 20 minutes, and we left. by the time we got home and got to bed, It was 1:30!
Mom came home on Friday, and everyone was so happy to see him.
So, That's my point of view on the story!

Poem
Here is a poem me and my brother made up.
Mr. Moo And The Spectacular Shoe
by Amanda and Kenny Sims
Mr. Moo had a spectacular shoe, a spectacular shoe it be.
Guess who wanted that shoe the most, Guess! (It was me.)
But, you could never tell the shoe how much you wanted it,
Or it would sneak behind you and yell BOO! And scare you to
Mount Scaboo, where you would live there the rest of your
life, your life being filled with strife. And then one day, Mr. Moo
said to his Shoe, "I want to go on a Trip." And the shoe thoght
I'd rather be called Kip! Oh Dear Mr. Moo, (Said The Shoe)
you can't go through! "Why? questioned Mr. Moo.
for maybe someone would sneak behind you and yell BOO!
And scare you to the top of Mount Scaboo, and you would never
return for the rest of your life, your life being filled with strife.
"I'm still going"! said Mr. Moo. ( And do you know what the shoe did
do? ) He Scared him to the top of Mount Scaboo! And now still
there he be,
And Guess who owns the shoe now?
ME!
Do you like it?

WOW!
You will never guess what happened to me today. Never. Okay, Okay, you've guessed enough already! I got a letter from......(Drum Roll Please)....... The President of the United States of America!!! Oh! What's that I hear? The Story? of course! Here it is: About a month ago, I was bored and wanted to do something productive. And then, I decided, why not draw something? so I headed to the school cabinet. Then, in the school cabinet I saw the back of of our poster. It said, School Fun Assingment. Write a postcard to the President. A light bulb turned on in my head. (ding!) I would write a letter to the President! (After all, it was a change.) So, I wrote one. And now I received one back. Yeah! So that's the story. gotta go now!
